Well, we are finally able to give a fishing report with our new web page.  Please travel through our web page and let us know what you think.  We are still working on it so your input would be greatly appreciated.

The fishing over the past few weeks has been fantastic.  Almost everyone is catching nice stringers.  DFG has been overstocking the area and the sizes have been very impressive.  South Lake and Lake Sabrina have been fantastic.  Nightcrawlers has probably been the best bait with red Pautzkes coming in a close second.  Trolling with Nightcrawler or light colored Rapalas has been very successful.

The creeks have been running at a perfect level for fishing.  Again, nightcrawlers.  Yellow-gold Panther Martins have been hitting the mark.

Intake 2 and North Lake have been exceptional with Salmon Egg or Chunky Cheese Powerbait.  Lot of success with an olive Matuka and a bobber.

The colors are at their peak right now.  This is a great year for fall colors with the snow we had a couple of weeks ago.  The temps have been cool (60’s to low 70’s) during the day and getting cold (low 40’s) at night.  Be sure to bring a light jacket or sweatshirt.

Again, please check out our new website and let us know what you think.  We now also have the ability to do online reservations (per the website) and have a Facebook page.  We are finally in the new millenia.

Expect to see fish reports on a constant basis now.  We will post them on the new site.

Thanks from Gary, Suzie, Derick, Tina and all the staff at Bishop Creek Lodge.
